Virtual reality experience “Under the Skin” in competition at IDFA 2020
"Under the Skin" is in the official competition of IDFA 2020, which will take place from 11/18 to 12/06 in Amsterdam.

The documentary is an interactive Virtual Reality film captured in the Complexo do Alemão, Rio de Janeiro. It takes the experiencer to get to know the trajectory of three Alemão slum residents, revealing their affectionate relationships, community life, and the challenges they face daily to overcome violence and prejudice.
Conceived from the outskirts to the center, "Under the Skin" is a pioneering Virtual Reality project that brings together social and technological innovation in a promising format, which has been recognized in international festivals.
The film is a co-production between Brazil, China, Luxembourg and Germany.
